ALBUM RELEASE - OCT. 23, 2026
Echolocationism
Echolocationism is an album of Ben recording some of the most personal songs he has ever written on his grandfatherās Martin D-28 acoustic guitar. Quite a few of the of the songs were recorded with playing and singing at the same time.
No production tricks. No metronome. No aritifical intellegence.
One voice. One guitar.
While Ben spent hours rehearsing the songs and preparing the space before recording, much like life, there are still imperfections, timing issues, moments when he couldnāt get the words out just right, moments when the guitar strings rattled and his voice cracked.
Echolocationism is different.
Echolocationism is as human as human can be.

In everything weāve done and will do, thereās going to be a first step. Sometimes itās tough to change or leave or start or even quit. The first step is always more than just that. The song can be as deep or as silly as you want it to be. For me, it scratches the surface and cuts deep.
